Cameroon: Boko Haram Attack Six Localities, At Least Three Dead
Men of the Nigerian armed Islamist group Boko Haram attacked Sunday six communities in northern Cameroon almost simultaneously, killing at least three civilians, said a source in the Ministry of Defense.
“Six attacks were carried out almost simultaneously Sunday” in six areas of the Cameroon region of the far north, on the border with Nigeria, the source said on condition of anonymity. “It was probably coordinated attacks, as Boko Haram had armored vehicles,” said the source, adding that the Cameroonian army had repelled the attackers in Nigeria.
