New England Patriots, lend their plane to student and families of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School for going to Washington DC. These students and family members are going to Washington for a rally by name of March for our lives.
One of the parents of students of Marjory Stoneman School told the interviewer from ABC News that owner of New England Patriots, Robert Kraft himself called the school and offered to lend his plane for this cause.
One of the parents of children who survived the shooting at high school, named Barry took the flight on Thursday from Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport together with his daughter. The name of said daughter is Isabelle Barry who on the day of shooting hid herself in the closet. In the shooting massacre, Isabelle’s’ best friend Helena Ramsey was shot along with 16 other students.
Barry told ABC news interviewer that the flight was just luxurious and the crew was very hospitable to all the people on board. They were all supportive to our cause and gave us lot of hugs and lot of love.
Barry also stated that Kraft arranged for not only first class seats but also went on to give gift bags and letter personally from him to each passenger. Foods and drinks served were of best quality. A senior manager from team also showed the Championship ring of the team to every passenger.
The letter sent by Kraft showed not only love but support as well from New England Patriots organization.
Majority of passengers included families of the injured and killed victims on plane. The whole scene on the plane was like a big family altogether with same belief and goal.
Students who came unscathed from the shooting massacre are still extremely scared. Their fear being admits his crowd grew exponentially but they still held on to their wits and courage as they knew that they had to do this rally.
The act of Patriots lending their plane was unbelievable to everyone but when reporters asked them they refused to comment on it.
Students are using the main slogan as “Never Again” to call on lawmakers to make schools safer and make gun laws stricter.
