Aamir Khan Becomes Brand Ambassador for Snapdeal
Bollywood’s renowned filmmaker-actor, Aamir Khan who gained huge popularity worldwide, has become Indian largest online shopping website Snapdeal‘s brand ambassador.
The Indian media accounts, Khan is received to be nearly Rs.15-20 crore after signing the agreement, according to this deal, Snapdeal to roll out extensive campaign in which Aamir to present as its ambassador and that will be unveiled online as well Indian on television.
Leo Burnett presented the idea of this campaign, which has launched in previous year, November while sacking a portion of e-commerce company’s creative account following a multi-agency pitch.
The Mr. Perfectionist has been linked with other well-known brands as Samsung, Godrej, Coca Cola, Tata Sky and Titan watches for years and now will be appear soon while representing the Snapdeal.
The so many television and film celebrities are hired by e-commerce companies which used them on board to make their brands popular and it works—companies become rich just because of these promotion.
The companies who hired renowned personalities, they are, Neha Dhupia and Yami Gautam roped by LimeRoad and Jabong, Ranveer Singh by Myntra, Indian film industry’s Shah Rukh Khan days ago signed agreement with Yepme respectively as ambassador and in past so many other had done.
Snapdeal’s campaign, it is said to be that more than 19 celebrities to support the brand and will its commercials will be televised on about 40 Indian channels. Harsha Bhogle, Alok Nath and Mandira Bedi also are among over 19 celebrities who are part of this campaign.
If reports are to be believed Snapdeal is talking about terms with Alibaba a record funding round of Rs 6,200 crore.
However, if we take a view previous year’s October month, it grew Rs 3,800 crore ($627 million) from Japan’s SoftBank, valuing the company at Rs 11,200 crore.
