Mumbai: Alia Bhatt to star in Abhishek Chaube next opposite Shahid Kapoor, preferred ‘Udta Punjab’ by rejecting ‘Rock On’.

Indian media reported that Alia Bhatt has decided to go with Abhishek Chaube’s next Udta Punjab opposite Shahid Kapoor, rejected Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On’ as both have been offered to her at same time.

The actor Shahid Kapoor may not be the reason of choice because the younger Alia has passion of acting and very sensitive about success of her acting career, however, the expected reasonss could be the director of the decided movie and role offered to her.

‘Udta Punjab’ has been directed by famous Abhishek Chaube who directed Ishqiya while she has been offered a lead role in the movie also the reason of choice, the actress father Mahesh Bhatt also reportedly help daughter for the decision.

‘2 states’ actress will share screen with Shahid Kapoor second time, Shandaar starring Alia and Shahid in lead roles also due in.
