Microsoft is heading to launch its flagship models Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL which would be packed with latest operating system Windows 10.

 

The coming devices are replaced with Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL which are possibly lined up for Microsoft next release.

If rumors are to be believed Microsoft Lumia 950 will be available soon in market instead of Lumia 940 which is expected to release at end of this year, the tech giant is considering launching new flagship that will be packed with Windows 10 rather to launch Lumia 940 and Lumai 940 XL.

Terry Myerson, Microsoft Executive Vice President of the Windows and Devices Group, has disclosed earlier this week at Worldwide Partner Conference that soon people will see premium new Lumias designed for Windows 10 that will be available in market soon.

Let’s make comparison for both devices to know what Microsoft will be added to its premium devices, the design of Lumia 940 is expected to 5.2-inch Quad HD display, meanwhile, Lumia 950 is coming out with same display along with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 424 ppi.

It is rumored that both devices will be powered with same 64bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, a source revealed that Lumia 950 will have 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory that can be enhanced through microSD card.

Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 950 are equipped with 20MP PureView primary camera and 5MP front-snapper, the latter device will definitely run on Windows 10 OS and there is possibility that both handsets from Microsoft will similar connectivity options.

According to latest reports the cost of Microsoft Lumia 940 is quite higher than its predecessor and would be in between $700 to $750, in contrast there is no price speculation about Lumia 950.
