Fourth Generation of this Kapoor family starts with Ranbir Kapoor. He is the son of Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor. He learned acting from an Institute in New York, USA in the Lee Strasberg Theatre and came back to India to pursue his acting career in Bollywood. He worked as an assistant director in the movie of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and debuted in Saanwariya in 2007 and also he received award for best actor. He then received fame from his awesome performances in Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. He won many awards through it and also got success commercially after the hit of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

In, he founded a production house named Picture Shuru Productions. He is the owner of the football team of Mumbai in the Indian Super League and also he is known as the brand ambassador of the Spanish football club.

Early Life

Ranbir Kapoor is already an actor from a successful family. He has a strong background of Kapoor family and this superstar did not have any easy childhood. He scored quite poor in his early stage during his school time in the British Scottish School in Mumbai. He spent a lot of time in the punishments. He then joined HR College of Economics and Commerce and then went to New York, USA and started studying filming from the School of Visual Arts. He took classes of acting from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and came back to Mumbai and then debuted in Saawariya. He also worked as an assistant director as well.

Ranbir Kapoor started his career by working as an assistant director with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and then debuted in Saawariya with Sonam Kapoor, the daughter of Anil Kapoor. He also won the best actor award for this movie and then gave marvelous performances in Wake Up Sid, Rocket Singh and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. He is famous for his role in Rockstar and last movie which was a blockbuster was Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

After working as an assistant director, he came into acting career and debuted in Saawariya. He is among the fourth generation of the Kapoor’s family and also he plays as a tramp that falls in love with a woman and inspite of the fact that film didn’t go too well but still he won an award for his film for being the best actor.

He then did a movie of Yash Raj, Bachna Ae Haseeno, with co – stars Deepika, Bipasha and Manisha and the movie got commercial success which made his way in the Bollywood and he got different movies like Rocket Singh, Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

He did a political movie Raajneeti which gave him marvelous success and then he did Anjaana Anjani and he got huge success in this film. This movie broke the box office records.he then did an award winning film Rockstar in which he acted wonderfully and surprised everyone. He also gave one of his best performances in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. This was the highest grossing movie and he made his best movie of that year and then he appeared in Tamasha with Deepika Padukone and also he won award fro the best actor and also brought out the best from him.

The name of Ranbir was named for his grandfather, Raj Kapoor. His full name was Ranbir Raj Kapoor as he was famous as Raj Kapoor. He appeared and directed few short films like India 1964 in 2004 and Passion to Love in 2002.
