T 20 World Cup: India face New Zealand in the Opening Match
The most favorite team for the T 20 world cup, India meet in their first assignment of the champion campaign against the big hitting team New Zealand in the opening match of the world cup at Nagpur. After winning 10 T20 matches in their last 11 international matches the home side is looking dangerous for all teams in the group 2 and very much favorite for the semi final.
On the other side the Indian team has the woeful track against the New Zealand team in the T 20 tournaments and they beat India in four matches out of 5 they played and one match was rained off. Although the Black Caps have been damaged from the retirement of the inspirational skipper Brandon McCollum just before the starts of the tournament but their performance in the warm-up matches shows that they are not lacking for any brilliant performance. New Zealand team thrashed the Sri Lankan bowling in the warm-up match and their top order included the Corey Anderson, Colin Munro and the Grant Elliot scored 50’s in the practice match.
The Indian team is suffered from the practice match against the South Africa and they lost by 4 runs from the South Africa in the high scoring match. The powerful Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan hitting the purple patch and the all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is also in a good nick and the Indian team will expect from him to hit a big score in the first match against New Zealand. The New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson believes that his team which is still can win the world cup and we do not lack in belief. He also says that the Indian team is favorite for the tournament but if we defeat them it will be a good start for us in the T 20 world cup.
