After facing continuity defeats, Pakistan had named first victory in World Cup while beating Zimbabwe by 20 runs at Played at Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba, Brisbane.

When Pakistan demonstrated bad performance while batting first and condition was showing that Zimbabwe can easily win this match from rivals as made poorest target of of 236 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs but it goes totally opposite as Pakistan won it with their best.

Pakistani openers Ahmed Shehzad, talented Nasir Jamshed once again let down and disappointed fans with their dead acts, lost wickets without scoring. Captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Haris Sohail showed bit responsible behavior as tried hard to make strong partnership but not huge, Misbah made 73 on 121 balls and Sohail hit 44 balls while attaining 27 runs.

Talented batsman Umar Akmal came out aggressive to gain more score but to some extent remained successful and achieved 33 runs facing 42 balls, Sohaib Maqsood stayed at wicket for some minutes but showed bad form, 21.

When batsman made disappoint while performing bad, then a bowler Wahab Riaz took the responsibility to collect runs for team, hit hard opponents to make his goal true and remained successful as entertained with his best strokes to audience.

Riaz made 54 (6/4s and1/6s ) on 46 balls and remained not out, it means batsman have lost their abilities to create good target so in poor condition bowlers had to work for team.

Pakistani attacker Mohammad Irfan stormed Zimbabwe’s openers Chamu Chibhabha, now Sikandar Raza and kicked out them from wicket and also bowled Hamilton Masakadza who came out with confidence, went back after scoring 29.

Brendan Taylor, Sean Williams and Elton Chigumbura had done great efforts but in vain, Taylor scored 50 on 72, Williams, 33 and 35 on 35.

Mohammad Irfan, Wahab Riaz made possible the victory which was appearing impossible hours ago both rocked at wickets while bowling destructively and duo got 4, 4 wickets.
