South African AB De Villiers Sets Fastest ODI Century and Half Century Record

Johnsonburg: South African batsman AB De Villiers has scored fastest fifty and century against West Indies and set World’s record in One-Day-International.

South Africa batsman AB de Villiers has smashed the fastest-ever one-day international century during South Africa’s innings against the West Indies on Sunday, set world record of fastest half century on 16 balls and century on just 31 balls.

In the second ODI in Johannesburg there was just aggression as said by the cricketers after commenting on her fastest century, Aggression was the main thing for me today, I just wanted to go right from the start.

Record inning played by South African batsman broke the century record of the previous ODI record of 36 balls by New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson with 11 sixes and 8 fours on 31 balls also smashed the half century record of Sri-Lankan Sanath Jayasuriya who did fifty on 17 balls.

The stunning AB De Villiers played innings of 149 runs on 44 balls in the second one-day international at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Sunday.
