7 Exoplanets Resembling Earth Discovered: NASA Announcement
Trappist 1 which is an orbiting Star, not only 1 or two but seven astonishing exoplanets has been discovered around its octet which has resemblance like earth and their size is also almost equal to earth.
There is a happy place in solar system where rocky planets are comprised of liquid water and liquid water can easily stay on this rocky planet’s surface: Habitable zone and exciting thing is that three of the exoplanets are in habitable zone. This Habitable zone has moderate temperature.
NASA announced that the fascinating concept about solar system has gain the shape of reality after discovery of these exoplanets.
Science mission directorate’s associate administrator, Thomas Zurbuchen announced that now finding second earth is now no more a mystery but it all depends on that when we are going to explore it.
Zurbuchen added that after discovery of these exoplanets a question has raised in everyone’s mind that is there any life existence on other worlds existing in solar system and this is a “major step forward” initiative.
During the press conference regarding this discovery announcement another astronomer Michael Gillon added that this discovery of exoplanets is a promising step for exploration of other life existence in solar system.
This thing has happened first time in history that same-sized exoplanets resembling earth have been found orbiting around the same sun.
It has been revealed that these exoplanets are 40 light years away from each other and view of these planets from each other must seem like other one is bigger and if it is not like this then they will look alike moon from the earth as they orbit around the same star.
Gillon added that these planets not look like “dots of light” like Venus has appearance from our home planet earth, these exoplanets has wonderful view from other planets.
It is worth mentioning here that thousands of planets are in knowledge of scientists beyond our own solar system.
