Salman Khan to play a Father Role in Aditya Chopra’s Sultan
Bollywood super star Salman Khan has all set to once again rock at box office as his latest comedy, drama release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘ making incredible history by earning huge amount worldwide and its successful screening is still going on.
However, if reports are to be believed ‘The Tiger of Bollywood’ will play a father role in next project ‘Sultan’ which is being produce by Indian filmmaker Aditya Chopra.
The 49-year-old Blooywood star has been receiving critical acclaim for his father role in latest release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘, while fans got excited after hearing reports that once going to play same role in ‘Sultan‘ which reportedly being directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar.
Zaffar has showed his best directorial skills in his previous ventures as Katrina Kaif starrer Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Priyanka Chopra’s Gunday.
Incidentally, Rani Mukerji will be seen opposite Khan playing lead role, and couple going together for film after long duration as last seen in Chori Chori Chupke Chupke 2001.
Nonetheless, names for other roles are being discussed among the filmmakers of the upcoming Indian fiction flick Sultan, though the actor has reportedly worked out to loss his weight according to requirements of the director as well character.
The story of this upcoming venture revolves around a 40-year old wrestler Sultan Ali Khan from Haryana which will be played by Salman and its teaser was rolled out in June. Salman has experience to manage father role as also appeared in dad role Aditya Narayan in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai opposite Twinkle Khanna and Namrata Shirodkar.
Sultan scheduled to be released on Eid, 8 July and two leggy beauties as Deepika Padukone and Kriti Sanon speculated to be part of the project but never confirmed yet.
