Sanjay Dutt Back To Jail for Surrender, Again Returns Home
Mumbai: Indian celeb Sunjay Dutt went back to jail after completion of 14-day furlough, again return to his home till application ramification.
According to Indian media Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who back to Yerawada Central Jail on Thursday 14-day-long furlough ended, return to his home after spending few hours in the jail premises because his application for extension of his furlough is still pending.
Prison authorities stated that Dutt has not require to surrender till the application for seeking extension would be entertained, actor’s lawyer submitted an application requesting authorities to extend furlough leaves over illness.
Sources revealed that it happened due to lack of co-ordination between jail and police authorities as prisoners request should be entertained with in specific time, Dutt’s lawyer has documented application on December, 27.
Deputy Inspector General, Rajendra Dhamane has stated that Sanjay Dutt cited illness as reason for extension of furlough, we asked the Mumbai Police to verify if the reason cited is true, waiting for the response from Mumbai authorities regarding the application.
Sanjay Dutt has been sentenced five year jail on March 2013 for possession of illegal weapons and under 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case, serving remaining 42 months in Yerawada Central Jail.
