Biography

Shahrukh Khan was born in New Delhi in India in 1965 and he belonged to a Muslim family. His father name was Taj Mohammad Khan who was a Pathan and also worked as an activist in Peshawar and his mother was Lateef Fatima who was the daughter of an engineer. He was brought up with the five years of his life in Mangalore and the father of Shahrukh Khan died with cancer at the time of his father’s death and he was only 15 years old at that time. His mother was ill from a very long time and he also has an elder sister whose name is Shehnaz.

Career Highlights

Shahrukh Khan acted under the theatre director in Delhi at “Theatre Action Group” with Barry John. He also did a lead role in the movie, Fauji, where he earned recognition and then shifted himself to Mumbai and got his first offer to do a movie under the direction of Hema Malini direction, Dil Aashna Hai. Because of the production delays, Deewana was a movie with rishi Kapoor and it was released for the first time. The film became a Bollywood blockbuster and he won a Film fare award for best actor. He won an award for best male debut for this year.

Aditya Chopra made a movie named Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995 and this film was a blockbuster of that time. That movie got too much fame and it had been beating the history and also he is known for being the best actor of Bollywood.
