Istanbul: A female suicide bomber blew herself up in a police station of Istanbul, Killed one and wounded another policeman on Tuesday.

According to foreign news agency a female suicide bomber exploded at a police station in the tourist area of Sultanahmet in Istanbul killed one while another policeman has minor injuries, woman also lost her life.

Police officials told to media that woman carrying explosive material entered into police station claimed that she had lost her wallet and just after that she blew herself up injured two police officers. One of the wounded officers has severe injuries died in hospital while other has been treated.

Governor Vasip Sahin stated that they are trying to recognize the suicide bomber, however, the identity and nationality of woman is still unidentified.

Media reported that authorities said that no militant group has claimed responsibility of the attack yet while investigations have been continued to find out any connection of the bombing to any group if it is?
