British Man Is First To Recover From HIV, Gives Hope To Millions Suffering From The Disease
A British man who was 44 year old was the first person in this history who was able to cure the undetectable HIV in the blood of man. According to the scientists, virus is not detectable in the remains of the first cure which was completely done by the scientists.
Five universities of UK assembled the experiments which were currently conducted on 50 people. The real possibility is still under observation to cure HIV. This challenge is very big and it has been in the early stages of life which has made the progress remarkable. It was said by the reports of Mark Samuels who is the managing director of the ( NIHRO ) “National Institute of Health Research Office” in the infrastructure of clinical research.
It is not an easy task to cure HIV as it helps in targeting the immune system and it joins itself to the T- cells of DNA and they ignore all the other diseases to turn into the viral factories to reproduce virus.
The anti – retroviral therapies are targeted to active the T – cells which infects HIV and dormant T – cells are not treated with it. It means that the body of the patient continues to produce virus in the body.
Two stages have been introduced to clear out all the infected cells and also a drug has also been introduced named “Vorinostat” as it helps in activating the dormant T – cells and they spot at the immune system.
The therapy is specially designed by the “Professor Sarah Filder” who is a consultant and physician at the London Imperial College told by the Times. It has been designed to clear all the viruses from the body.
Fiddler told times that they must continue doing their medical tests in order to find out the treatment for their next five years and at that moment they must recommend stopping art. In the near future, the test results depend on what we explore.
