Jemima’s Social Media Campaign to Raise Funds for Syrian Children

London: Jemima Khan has started social media campaign to raise funds for millions of children, victims of war-torn country Syria.

Jemima Khan, the former wife of chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) has started the wake up selfie campaign to raise the funds for the children of civil war Syria.

The UNICEF ambassador, Jemima’s social media campaign has began in early October with her selfie, she posted just after waking up with hashtag of wakeup call; the campaign has been supported by numerous celebrities and her fans also.

According to social marketing platform Spredfast revealed that Khan’s selfie campaign has been reached up to 300 million people worldwide but the campaigner stated that movement would not work until non-celebrities would engage in this activity to aid the needed children.

40-year-old Jemima wishes every individual to take part in the movement, Text SYRIA to 70007 to donate £5. Jemima managed to raise funds up to 1.6 million last year for the sake of children of demolished country Syria.

The UNICEF reports revealed that about 6.5 million children have been affected by the continuous conflict in Syria, the urgent humanitarian aid needed to protect these children from danger.
