Kangana, Madhavan Starrer Tanu Weds Manu Returns Collects 8.75 Crore
Mumbai: Tanu Weds Manu Returns opening collection was up to Rs 8 crore at the domestic box office on Friday, starring Kangana Ranuat in double avatar seeks more in coming days.
According to Indian media the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu went successful at box office and managed to collect up to 8.75 crore in opening day at domestic box office while Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan romantic love story grabbed the attention of public on Friday and is likely to move up in coming days.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has stated on social networking sites that the Friday collection of Tanu Weds Manu Returns was nearly 8.75 crore which is expected to multiply in next days following its tremendous word of mouth, the overseas earning of opening day was also excellent nearly 3 crore.
Directed by Anand L. Rai the sequel marked the return of whole cast of Kangana, R. Madhavan, Jimmy Shergill, Eijaz Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, and Swara Bhaskar, which its well opened than expected at Indian box office and succeeded to attract public over the finest character playing of Kangana and Madhavan.
The story began with Tanu, played by Kangana, and Manu, played by Madhavan, who are busy to fight differences since four years but ended up with Tanu rushed to Kanpur while Manu got involved in another Datto, also played by Kangana, and started loving her which turned to plot into love triangle.
Tanu Weds Manu Returns said to be complete package of comedy and emotions, the ups and downs in the movie will possibly forced the viewers laugh enough that they didn’t have before while some of scenes are too much emotional that can be feel when watch the film.
