St. Louis: Michael Brown Supporters Stage ‘Die-In’
Dozens of protesters came out in the streets to protest against fatal shooting of Michael Brown in August by a white policeman in Ferguson.
International media reported that number of supporters of Michael Brown stage a peaceful die-in in downtown of St. Louis in which they lay down in the streets at dead people after an imaginary shot by policemen, this all done in the memory of dead Michael who became the victim of discrimination.
The protesters block the major intersection and roads of St. Louis to protest against White police Officer Darren Wilson who killed the Brown by fatal shooting three months ago in front of his house in Ferguson. Marchers demanded the criminal charge against the police officer to avert this prejudice.
However, a jury in the county seat of Clayton, Missouri has been investigating the shooting either a result of racism or due to any illegal act of Brown. Some of eyewitness stated that brown has his hands up when shot while other said he was involved in alleged assault with Wilson.
A 29-year-old protest leader, DeRay McKesson said, this is a peaceful movement, it is a different protest that it was in August, and then it just had anger, justifiable anger. Now we are organized. We are strategizing. And we are going to raise our voice to the higher authorities to remove this racism, he added.
