Tornadoes Hit US State Mississippi, 4 Dead, Dozens Injured
Washington: Storm and tornadoes hit different parts of Southern United States, Mississippi which killed at least four while 50 were injured.
Foreign news agency reported that heavy storm and tornadoes with heavy rain hit the US State Mississippi on Tuesday afternoon, caused killing of four people, injuries of nearly 50 while destroyed homes and power system in the State.
Emergency Management Agency spokesman Brett Carr has confirmed the death stated that two people buried under their mobile homes in Jones County while another two were died in Marion County.
Authorities has declared state of emergency in Mississippi while considering the ugly weather that hit the other southern States a warning has been issued in the States of Alabama and Georgia as well as Florida.
According to rescue teams storm caused heavy destruction in the State, killing of four people it damaged power and communication system. Five of tornadoes have been recorded till now which destroyed number of houses in the row while 80 percent households in the State has power shut down.
