Another Hanged Convicted For Murder Attempt on Pervez Musharraf

Islamabad: Another offender of Musharraf assassination attack, Niaz Muhammad, has been hanged in central jail of Peshawar.

According to Pakistani media the convict of murder attempt on former President Pervez Musharraf was executed in central jail of Peshawar on Wednesday, Niaz Mohammad’s body had been handed over to the family following death confirmation of official doctors.

Muhammad Niaz was a former Pakistan Air Force technician from the district Swabi in KPK province had been sentenced to death for attacking Rt. General Pervez Mussarraf, the attack was made in December 2003 by powerful explosion in 2003 in Rawalpindi.

On Wednesday, prior to execution strict security arrangements were made around the prison and any unauthorized person was not allowed to enter the Central Jail of Peshawar.

The hanging of Niaz Mohammad brings total to seven since Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif lifted ban on execution of terrorists following Taliban attack on army school in Peshawar.

On December 16, the black day in history of Pakistan, militants stormed on army school Peshawar, killed 141 including 132 innocent children.
