Srinagar: The Hindu extremists against attacked the Kashmiri students who went to New Delhi for internship, several were wounded.

According to Indian media Kashmiri students belonged to media and other different institutions went to New Delhi for internship where Hindu extremists allegedly attacked on them and wounded many of Students in the city.

Kashmiri students reported that they were on the way to their institution when veiled men came on their path and started beating them, the students didn’t show their identities which may cause inconvenience for their families, however, they ready to go back in Kashmir in few days.

The sources reported that reason of attack is likely the statement of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani who gave a statement about the killing of two Hizbul Mujahideen militants by calling them ‘martyrs’ while other leaders also called them heroes.

‘The sacred blood will never go in vain; Indian government has to face the ground realities. The aggressive path adopted by Kashmiri youths is not any act of hobby nor is it the consequence of joblessness. They are the students of different colleges and universities who are fully aware about the historical viewpoint and the catastrophe of Kashmir,” Geelani said

The statement sparked outrage between Hindu extremists and Kashmiris which may the reason of the recent assault on the students belonged to Kashmir.
