Kangana’s last release Tanu Weds Manu Returns also rocking on box office with its successful screening in India as well as other countries theaters and it is hoping that would definitely create history at the box office.

The romance-drama Queen sacked Best Performance in a Leading Role – female awards at the three-day long 16th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend, Best Story, Best Picture and Awards on Sunday.

However, the 28-year-old seductive actress couldn’t attend the dazzling ceremony of IIFA but Queen’s film director received her trophy for Best Performance in a Leading Role – female on her behalf.

The Kangana was great competitor for other actors from Haider, Mary Kom, PK and 2 States for the Best Picture trophy. Vikas Bahl remained unsuccessful to bag the award in the Direction category, though this time Rajkumar Hirani sacked trophy for PK.

The spectacular and twinkling ceremony was hosted by two young Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, while Shahid Kapoor rocked on the stage by showing his incredible dance moves and after that his name was called for award of Leading Role Male for his performance in Haider.

This time 34-year-old Kapoor beat other veteran stars as Shah Rukh Khan (Happy New Year), Aamir Khan (PK), Hrithik Roshan (Bang Bang!) and that is not ordinary thing because these senior stars have been ruling in Indian film industry for long time.

Bollywood’s hottest Deepika Padukone didn’t collect award for Best Performance in a Leading Role – Female category but she took home Woman of the Year award.
