Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Names Their Baby Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana
London: Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton named their baby princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, Kensington Palace announced.
According to Kensington Palace Prince William and Kate Middleton has finally announced the name of their new baby princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana who was born in Lindo Wing of London’s St Mary’s Hospital on Saturday, the princess contains nod of her grandmother, grandfather and great grandmother in a row.
The Royal baby name is combination of three words Charlotte which is feminine form of Charles, prince of 18 century and name of two former kings, Diana was on name of her grandmother as Prince William didn’t forget her grandmother the Queen Elizabeth while thinking about his daughter’s name which memories the history of Royal family.
The duke and duchess of Cambridge showed their daughter to world in front of Lindo Wing of London’s St Mary’s Hospital on Saturday just before leaving hospital, moved to their home in Kensington Palace with the Royal baby princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
The Princess of Cambridge is fourth in line to the throne after Charles, William and Prince George of Cambridge who is the elder son of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The Royal couple will reportedly travel to Norfolk tomorrow where baby princess is due to meet with The Queen first time.
It is traditional for Royal families that they look in their past for naming new babies to preserve the history, the baby princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana coincidentally takes names of her grandmother and grandfather while also paying tribute to reigning Queen Elizabeth, her great grandmother.
Media sources stated that name of new baby princess has been highly liked by the public saying it beautiful as the named was revealed to the public while historians called the selection ‘nicely-balanced compliment.
