ISIS Claims Responsibility for Killing of Italian Aid Worker in Bangladesh
An Italian aid worker Cesare Tavella has been killed who was shot thrice around 6:15PM when he was jogging in Dhaka’s Gulshan diplomatic zone in Bangladesh; ISIS claimed responsibility for the killing.
According to foreign news agency an Italian diplomat Cesare Tavella shot dead in Gulshan diplomatic zone of Dhaka in Bangladesh in evening when he was jogging, the assailants were believed to three in number who shit thrice when led to death of Tavella.
The Italian aid worker Cesare Tavella was manager of the Netherlands-based ICCO Cooperation of Profitable Opportunities for Food Security (PROOFS) project in Dhaka, Bangladesh, fired three times in an open area of Gulshan diplomatic zone was rushed to hospital who confirmed his death.
Forensic expert Qazi Md Abu Shama revealed that one of shot fired hit his left hand while one of two shot which have been fired from back pierced his chest possibly caused severe damage for which he lost his life.
Islamic State has claimed the responsibility for the killing of Italian aid worker, militant group has stated that they are involved in shooting the diplomat named Cesare Tavella which is described to be first attack from the ISIS in Bangladesh.
Authorities have refused the presence of ISIS in Bangladesh with saying that had found no such evidence which could be linked to the existence of militant group in the country, though; they are investigating the incident and soon explained the reason behind the killing of Cesare Tavella.
Several countries including US, UK and Canada have directed to their diplomats and citizens to stay inside, asking them to remain alert in Bangladesh and limit all westerners attendance in events especially large gatherings and those places where security personnel has been limited.
