Libyan Plane is hijacked: 65 passengers are released
Libyan state-owned airline “Afriqiyah Airways flight” is hijacked by two personals and they have threatened to blow the plane with grenades. The plane was in route from Sabah to the capital of Libya Tripoli. The Plane was hijacked and moved to Malta which is just 350 km away.
According to Afriqiyah Airways officials the plane had at first flown towards Malta, which lies just 350 kilometers north of Tripoli, headed back towards Libya and afterward came back to arrive in Malta. The pilot had attempted to influence the ruffians to arrive in Libya, Reuters cited a security source at the primary air terminal saying, and however they won’t. “The pilot answered to the control tower in Tripoli that they were being commandeered and then they lost correspondence with him,” the authority said, talking on state of obscurity.
Negotiations were in progress by early evening, and the primary discharges were declared not long after “Muscat” addressed his Libyan partner Faez al Serraj. “To start with gathering of travelers, comprising of ladies and kids, being discharged now,” Muscat said on Twitter, without giving subtle elements of the states of their escape. Total no. of passenger that the plane was carrying was 111 in which 7 crew members and one Government official is on board. Hijacker have released 65 passenger, including the majority of the ladies and kids on load up, and are in arrangements about the destiny of 63 other individuals as yet being held, the nation’s PM said.
However Malta and Libyan officials are trying to contact with the Hijackers but still they have not thrown any kind of demand in front of the officials.
