Sanjay Dutt Seeks Extension of Furlough, Back To Jail Today
Mumbai: The Indian actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently out of jail on a 14-day furlough, applied extension in parole period has been back to jail today.
Sanjay Dutt has appealed to extend his furlough, back to jail today after 14-day after celebrated Christmas and New Year’s Eve with his family, the prison officers seeks authorities response on the request submitted for extension by the lawyer of Indian actor.
The 55-year-old actor was released from Yerawada Central Jail on December, 24, approving his application of a 14-days furlough to celebrate Christmas and welcome New Year along with family in Mumbai, the actor earlier in total actor spent 118 days in regard of parole and furlough.
Dutt has been sentenced five year jail on March 2013 for possession of illegal weapons and also under 1993 Mumbai bombings; the actor has been shifted to the Yerawada Central Jail to serve the remainder of his 42-month sentence in Pune.
The lawyer of Dutt has stated that they are seeking the response of plea from authorities furlough granted to prisoners periodically to meet their relatives or over good behavior during prison.
