Mumbai: Indian film industry’s renowned filmmaker Ritesh Sidhwani, who is producer of a forthcoming Indian action-thriller venture ‘Raees’, has set its release date, on Eid.

The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’ is a co-production project as Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Gauri Khan are being produced it, and rescheduled release date as first it was decided to roll out the movie on 3 July,.

It rumored to be that Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ slated to be release on same date next year and may be the filmmakers want to compete at box office with Salman’s forthcoming movie.

Nevertheless, Ritesh has tweeted on Twitter to clarify the confusion as well as rumors on social media which making huge noise that King Khan to compete with Salman at box office.

Ritesh took his Twitter to post the comment, “We had announced in February that we will be releasing our film on EID and we are on schedule to release it as planned #RaeesOnEid2016,”

The ‘Raees’ under the banners of Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment, signed Mahirah Khan Askari, who is a Pakistani veteran actress and has been working with the 49-year-old Khan as well actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar on sets of the film.

However, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone starrer action-drama ‘Sultan’ is being produced by Aditya Chopra and directed and written by The Ali Abbas Zafar.

It is never happening first time that ‘Kick’ star and Shah Rukh are to clash at box office, while their clash has been occurred before that as ‘Jaaneman’ and ‘Don’ hit theaters on the Diwali of 2006.

As we all know, these three Bollywood’s Khans’ movies are big ticket events and their filmmakers avoid releasing their project on same dates.
