Altaf Hussain Accepted Fazal-Ur-Rehman Mediator, Government Agrees To Establish A Committee To Monitor
Lahore: Chief of Liberalism based Pakistani political party Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain has accepted Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman’s mediation over the subject of MQM quits.
Pakistani news channels’ reports, critical situation emerged after the MQM resignations and to resolve the tensions, Pakistani government appointed Fazlur Rehman to talk to chief of MQM Mr. Hussain.
However, Fazlur Rehman discussed the issue via telephone and both leaders deeply exchanged their views over the critical condition.
Nonetheless, Hussain accepted Rehman’s conciliation and showed consent for negotiations which will soon start with MQM Raabta Committee.
Fazlur Rehman will reportedly arrive at Karachi in 48 hours, while Hussain respected Rehman’s conciliation and never expressed any condition.
According to sources, MQM Raabta Committee’s session is still being done in London as well Karachi.
According to Rehman’s point of view, if the resignations be given so it can’t be back, while opposition has claimed that until high court’s decision is not issued the reigns can’t be returned, though Rehman agreed opinion.
It also reportedly decided into the meeting that the government will not suggest speakers, even will not affect over discretionary powers because to accept the resignations is only speakers’ duty, not anyone other have the authority.
However, the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will announce the final decision about the issue in next two days.
PM Sharif has trust that with the Monitoring of parliament committee, not only transparency will be raise— even better consequences will also be attained soon.
To establish the parliament committee to monitor the Karachi operation is one of the conditions by Muttahida Qaumi Movement which they presented to get back their resignation from parliament.
