Leonardo DiCaprio to Play a Serial Killer Role in Martin Scorsese’s Next
American multifaceted, veteran, talented, actor-filmmaker Leonardo DiCaprio, who has bagged a 19th century serial killer for Martin Scorsese’s next project.
It reportedly would be fifth film in which Martin Scorsese going to team up with Hollywood’s versatile actor DiCaprio as last both worked together in the oscar-nominated The Wolf of Wall Street which received huge praise worldwide.
The 40-year-old star will play Dr HH Holmes, who is a 19th century serial killer and film titled The Devil in the White City, so we all know that when these both work together then result comes praiseworthy.
However, Paramount has named the bid to Erik Larson’s bestselling book The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic and Madness at the Fair That Changed America.
HH Holmes was a pharmacist and hotelier, who believed to animal as have executed more than 199 people, in which– a large number of young single women and other men.
Holmes has the art to lure women with his intrigue and flirting and later brutally slaughtered. The owner of World’s Fair Hotel in Chicago will definitely generate huge fear in your mind when it will be shown on big screens worldwide.
The Scorsese has been working on this project for over a decade and now has set all to launch its filming soon. The name of Hollywood’s another super star Tom Cruise was in discussions but filmmakers voted for DiCaprio.
The story of the based on Erik Larson’s acclaimed 2003 non-fiction book ‘The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic and Madness at the Fair That Changed America’, has now been adapted by the Secret in Their Eyes’ screenwriter, Billy Ray who better known for script of The Hunger Games series.
DiCaprio will next be seen in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s upcoming ambitious outdoor epic ‘The Revenant’ that slated to be released on 25 December,.
