Suicide bomber took life of 6 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
An on foot suicide bomber hit a government automobile in Kabul on Wednesday, taking life of at least 6 people and injuring 10, stated by officials, Islamic State group took the responsibility of the attack.
The most recent bombing to strike the capital of Afghanistan came in the period of the morning rush hour, as radicals increase nationwide assaults on the Western-supported government.
“A walking suicide attacker marked an automobile belonging to security forces in Kabul downtown,” Sediq Sediqqi, spokesman of interior ministry said.
He said the death count is 6 at this time, including 5 civilians and 1 military officer, with 10 injured in blast, which took place near to the defense ministry.
Previously, the interior ministry stated death count is 4, including 2 security officers.
A different security officer said the targeted automobile belonged to VIP protection unit of government.
The SITE monitoring faction stated the local of IS province of Khorasan associate had taken responsibility of the assault in a communiqué asserting it had aimed intelligence officials of Afghanistan.
The assault highlights rising uncertainty in war-torn nation almost 2 years following US-directed NATO forces officially stopped their battle operations.
