Airbus Delivered The First A350 To Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways Monday received the first copy of the brand new Airbus aircraft, the 350-900. This contract will enable the European aircraft manufacturer to strengthen its presence in the long-haul market.
The first copy of the Airbus 350-900 was delivered Monday, December 22 at Qatar Airways in Toulouse, in the presence of its CEO, Akbar al -Baker, Fabrice Brégier, CEO of Airbus and Rolls boss -Royce, John Rishton, the engine of the machine. Regarding employment, 12 500 Airbus employees are currently involved in Europe to design jet counting offices and production personnel. It even happens to 16 500 by adding the subcontractors working on the program, the group said.Almost half of these men and women are employed in France.
In 2018, all of these numbers could double if the success of the aircraft is confirmed and the aircraft manufacturer product actually 10 per month, a target of 2,500 aircraft in 20 to 30 years.
The European aircraft manufacturer has also announced Monday that it planned delivery of the first A50-1000, larger version in mid-2017.
