The design differences are fairly minor so I think the biggest design improvement here is reduction of the  headphone jack in favor of ear buds and introduce new camera system with the up-gradation of dual lens
So I think this looks a lot better doesn’t make a perfect but I think  makes a big design improvement .
Wireless headphones called Air-pods  can be purchased separately at extra cost.
Apple also announced the Apple Watch Series 2 with a more powerful processor
