Jackie Chan’s Son Faces Six Months Jail Over Drug Offense
Beijing: Jackie Chan’s son Jaycee Chan has been jailed for six months in China pleaded for drug offense government’s aggressive anti-narcotics campaign.
According to foreign news agency Beijing’s Eastern District Court has sentenced six months jail to Jackie Chan’s son Jaycee Chan and fined him $322 over drug charges, another China’s celebrity punished by law under aggressive campaign of government to counter drugs prevention.
The 32-year-old actor-singer pleaded guilty voluntarily of drug offense stated that he broke the law and should be punished, the court has announced him six months imprison for making his house available to others to abuse drugs.
Jaycee Chan along with his friend Kai Ko was detained by police from his house in August with hundred grams drugs, also positive for marijuana. Ko, 23 has been released but Chain has faced legal action against sheltering drug addicted finally convicted and sentenced imprison.
The younger Chan was among the other numerous celebrities in China who faced charges and sentenced penalities in the regard which shows exacting behavior of government anti-narcotics campaign to wipe out drugs from the country.
