Justin Trudeau’s inspiring core strength will surely leave you in awe
There are many things widely known about Justin Trudeau, the Canadian prime minister: his comprehensiveness on race and gender, his strong trust in the Americans, his friendliness toward refugees, his capacity to flare up the best bromance of the world with American president Barack Obama.
However, there is a lesser known fact about him and that is, his extraordinary upper-body strength.
The slim and smart Trudeau, having an impressive height of 6’2″ feet, balanced himself on a table only on his wrists, attaining a yogi-approved “peacock pose.”
The posture is quite powerful one and it requires strong biceps to balance in this position. Moreover, in Hindu lore, the peacock symbolizes “big things, like love and immortality,” rendering to the Yoga Journal.
This pose has an opulent mythology grounded on the concept of peacocks crushing snakes that symbolize human attachments and flaws. It even offers a wide range of decontaminating advantages. According to Athleta, an athletic wear brand, “this pose toughens the digestive system, fuels metabolism, and remove toxins from your body by strengthening the core, increasing the blood circulation and massaging the digestive organs.”
However, it is not certain that when and where this picture was taken. Its blurriness proposes that it is an old picture which got viral due to a Facebook post by David Gellineau, a Canadian yoga teacher.
Trudeau tweeted this picture himself in 2013.
Certainly, it also portrays Trudeau’s polymath aptitudes, a Renaissance man whose personal characters appear all the more tempting to many U.S. citizens in reference to the terrible condition of the election.
There are many other instances of Trudeau’s ability for Eastern movements. He along with his wife Sophie in, did a tree pose wearing a full suit; astounding Canadians and yogis the same by keeping excellent form, maintaining their feet far from their knees.
