Sanjay Dutt Out Of Yerwada Jail for Christmas Leave of 14 Days
Mumbais: Sanjay Dutt, who is serving five year sentence in Pune’s Yerawada jail for illegal possession of arms, was granted a 14-day leave for Christmas.
Indian superstar Sanjay Dutt has been released for 14 days by the authorities of Yerwada Central Jail from prison on December, 23, to celebrate upcoming Christmas and Happy New Year with family in Mumbai.
The actor has applied two months ago for grant of 14 days furlough before deputy inspector general of police with required document which has been accepted by authorities and granted him temporary release of 14 days to spend celebrations of Christmas and Happy New Year with his family and relative.
‘Policegiri’ actor has been sentenced five year jail on March 2013 for possession of illegal weapons and under 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case, however, the Dutt has been also released last year for same celebration and in total actor spent 118 days in regard of parole and furlough.
Parole and furlough refers to temporary leaves granted to prisoners to meet their relatives or over good behavior during prison.
