Suicide Bombings Kill 27 in Chad outside Police Headquarters

N’djamena: Suicide bombings carried out in Chad capital just outside police headquarters, killed 27 while 100 of were injured in this attack which was suspected by Nigerian rebels Boko Haram.

According to latest news suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers blew up their motorcycles in Chad capital just outside two government building including police headquarters on Monday, killed nearly 27 and injured more than 100 in the attack carried out after Boko Haram threatened Chad earlier this year.

Chad authorities have blamed the Nigerian Islamists militants for the bombings carried out by two suicide bombers who exploded them with their motorcycles in front of national police academy when security officers fired on them moving towards the building.

Boko Haram militants have not gave any statement to the attack yet and never claimed responsibility of the bombing from any source but it sure thing that Islamists militants are responsible for the bombing following their continuous threat to Chad for their assistance in Nigerian battle against these extremists.

The Communications Minister Hassan Sylla Bakari of Chad has condemned the attack by saying it appalling and barbaric attack, stated that they didn’t left war against terrorism and these attack would not weaken their determination and commitment.

Chad forces have been fighting against the Boko Haram Islamist militants with great collaboration to Nigerian forces and insurgent group has often threatened the Chadian authorities with retaliation for their key role in battle, however, this was the first ever attack in the Chad by militants.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has also gave statement condemning Chad suicide bombing that left 27 dead, admired Chad’s courageous role in Nigeria fight against terror group Boko Haram.
