The New Zealand Fly-Half Dan Carter, Rugby Legend A Sign To Racing Metro
Racing Metro has just completed a big hit on the rugby transfer market by signing Dan Carter, the All Blacks fly-half, 32 years old. A lighthouse recruitment raises still some questions.
Six years after leaving Perpignan , now in Pro D2, the star of the New Zealand Rugby Dan Carter will finally return to France. The opener of the All Blacks, who signed an agreement with Racing Metro, find the Top 14 in a year, in December.
For the Paris club, who broke his piggy bank to afford Carter, the announcement effect is successful. The New Zealander has signed for three seasons with Racing, therefore count in its ranks one of the most prominent of rugby stars.
Thursday, December 18 in the morning, Dan Carter was not present at the headquarters of Racing Metro in Colombes, near Paris, at the announcement with great fanfare his visit, scheduled after the World Cup in England in September.
But from New Zealand, he explained in a video the reasons that prompted him to return to France, more than six years after his departure from Perpignan (five games played in December 2008 and January 2009 before breaking a Achilles tendon).
Sad to think will be my last year playing in NZ but excited to announce my move to @RacingMetro92 next December
