Tri-Series England Beats India by 3 Wickets, Reach the Final
Perth: England has knocked out the India from tri-series won the match by three wickets at the WACA ground, reach the final against Australia.
In ODI match of tri series played at WACA ground in Perth, England defeated India by three wickets recovered from top-order collapse after losing five wickets on just 66 runs on score board, reached to final to face Australia.
England won the toss and decided to ball first, India openers Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan played good cricket and gave reasonable opening of 83 runs in first wicket partnership, however, the remaining nine players only add 117 runs and gave target of 200 runs to England.
To chase the target of 200 runs, England players have not played well in start and top-order went to pavilion by adding 66 runs but recovered when James Taylor (82) and wicketkeeper Jos Buttler (67) rescued the team by scoring 125 runs in six-wicket partnership and led the team to victory.
India has played four matches in tri-series in which it lost three of ODIs while one match has been ended up without decision due to raining, England will play against Australia in the final on Sunday at the same ground.
