Sanjay Dutt Walks Out as Free Man

Famous Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt at last took a sigh of relief as he came out of Pune’s Yerwada Jail as a free man on 25^th February,. Dutt finished 42 months Jail sentence after being allowed reduction in his 5-year sentence. Sanjay Dutt had a crowd of fans, friends and family waiting for his outstanding welcome outside the Jail and in Mumbai back home.

The 56 year handsome actor had smile on his face as he came out wearing a blue jeans and shirt. He walked quickly to the waiting car waving hand to spectators.

Appearing in good health, he eagerly carried ‘khaki’ bag in his hands containing his possessions and a green colored file that seemingly comprised of his prison record. His wife Maanyata and friend and producer Rajkumar Hirani were waiting for the big guy inside the car. They drove to Pune airport and took a chartered flight to Mumbai. Outside the Pune airport, Datt spoke to reporters there was no easy walk to freedom.

Sanjay Dutt set free after finishing prison formalities at 8.45 AM and walked out accompanied by police with strict security in the region. He finished remaining 42-months of his 5 year sentence as he had previously spent eighteen months in Mumbai’s Arthur road jail.

Controversies sustained to hound him for his furlough and leave of parole as detractors and critics alleged that Dutt had been granted “special treatment” that resulted in his remission and a shortened stay in jail. However, his lawyers and prison authorities, disproven the claims stating that his parole leaves and his reduction of 144 days was in harmony with jail prescribed rules and manual.

While explaining about the experience, the actor hugged his twins, who he had evidently not seen in a while.
