Bombing Hits Afghan Justice Ministry Building Kills 5, Injures Dozens
Kabul: Bomb blast outside Afghan Justice Ministry building in center of Afghanistan capital, Kabul killed at least five while dozens were injured; Taliban has claimed the responsibility for bombing.
According to foreign media bombing occurred in parking lot of Afghan Ministry of Justice building when government workers are leaving the offices on Tuesday, killed at least five people while dozens of them were wounded in the centre of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul.
The security forces and rescue team rushed the scene soon and bodies and injured people were sent to hospital immediately following the attack carried out using a car loaded with explosive material detonated just outside the Afghan Justice Ministry in which building was also damaged.
Taliban has claimed the responsibility for the attack with saying that they will carry out more blasts to kill the judiciary staff including judges and persecutors described them slaves who have been used by U.S.-backed Afghan government.
Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban spokesperson, gave statement that slave administration prosecutors, judges and other personal of Ministry of Justice were their target and they will attacks continue until cruel activities of these slaves continues.
Government officials has stated that Taliban have targeted Justice Ministry staff five times in last two weeks following large bombing while they vowed more blasts against judiciary.
Earlier, in May an attack was made when car bomber detonated near a bus carrying employees which killed one and injured thirteen other, later five prosecutors were killed in another blast when a suicide bomber hit a bus carrying worker back to their homes.
Afghanistan capital was on hit by Taliban as four days earlier gunfire inside a Kabul guesthouse housing foreigners killed 14 people while several were injured.
