Controversial Aamir Khan PK: Protests In Delhi Against Its Screening
Mumbai: Aamir Khan’s PK became more controversial; Bajrang Dal activist protested in Delhi and warned theaters over screening of movie.
According the Indian media PK controversy sparked protests in different Indian cities including Jammu, Delhi, Mumbai, Bhopal, Agra and Ahmadabad led by activists of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) who accused that PK hurting Hindu sentiments.
The protesters demanded ban on Aamir Khan’s blockbuster ‘PK’ for hurting the beliefs of Hindus and propagating ‘love-jihad’ in the movie, released on 19 December worldwide.
Bajrang Dal Madhya Bharat joint convenor Kamlesh Thakur said that they have warned the management that we will torch the theatre if PK is screened, nobody will be allowed to hurt the feelings of Hindus.
PK has faced lot of controversies since the release of its fist poster which features naked Aamir Khan having a transistor to cover his modesty; an FIR has also been filed against PK makers including, Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani.
