Harrison Ford Wounded in Plane Crash, Being Treated and Out of Danger
An experienced Hollywood’s actor Harrison Ford, who better known by Indiana Jones, his vintage plane crashed cause of engine failure and fell down on a Venice golf course, International media reported.
After the incident, the rescue called at the moment who discovered Ford while breathing and taken by them quickly to nearest hospital, reported by a fire department spokesman.
He was breathing and alert when medics arrived and took him to hospital in a “fair to moderate” condition, a fire department spokesman said.
“Dad is OK. Battered but OK!”, son Ben Ford, who is a chef in Los Angeles tweeted after founding him out of danger.
“The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery,” publicist of Harrison, Ina Treciokas also confirmed his safety, saying the he lost his control as engine stopped working and emergency landing was the only way.
When the crash took place, a group of golfers was in there of golf course and after crashing, pull out Ford from the plane and did some struggles to stabilize neck and spine. Spine surgeon Sanjay Khurana, who was one of the golfers, checked his airway as well blood pressure while assuring his safety.
Before landing, 72-year-old was nearly at distance of a half-mile from the airport and his plane was at 3,000 feet (914 meters) just minutes before engine failure and when it happened, reported air traffic controllers about it, acting Santa Monica City Manager Elaine Polachek told officials via email.
When a yellow 1942 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR with stars on its wings, crash-landed then not anyone was presented there and no more causality appeared but the plane damaged but no more.
Ford handled beautifully and technically whole situation and took right decision of emergency landing at accurate time.
