The American singer Jennifer Lopez has announced that she is going for a residency at Planet Hollywood Resort during American Idol semi-final.

Jennifer Lopez has announced on Tuesday during night’s semi-final of American Idol that she is heading to Las Vegas for a residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino next year, finally made the choice to move from Block to Sin City which is becoming popular destination of music’s top divas.

The stunning singer has twenty live shows staring from January to next few months till June at resort’s AXIS Theatre, planned for residency in Las Vegas follows the footsteps of modern pop stars like Mariah Carey and Britney Spears who already headed to Las Vegas and launched residencies.

Lopez, 45, said about her coming performances in next year while announcing the Las Vegas residency that she have been preparing for this moment in her entire life, the show is going to be a multifaceted, high energy Jenny from the Block party, mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love.

She further stated that her shows have dance, hip hop, Latin, and pop, going to be the show she have always dreamt of creating and now the moment is too close to her.

The residency news was unveiled just after FOX announced end of Jennifer’s judging job for American Idol; however, she will finally join fellow judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. for a final round of hopeful singers.
