UN: Nearly a Thousand People Dead Ukraine Truce
An average of 13 people died daily in eastern Ukraine since it entered into force a ceasefire on September 13, said UN High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR.
In a report UNHCR condemned serious abuses, especially in eastern regions in rebel hands. The conduct of the government forces, especially volunteer brigades, was also criticized.
The report documents you abuse by armed groups, including torture, arbitrary detentions, summary executions, forced labor and sexual violence.
He adds that there is a total breakdown of law and order in the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Luhansk.
