Karachi Terror Attack: 47 Killed Dozens Injured, Gunmen Open Fire On Bus In Karachi
Karachi: Six assailants reportedly opened fire on a bus near Dow Medical College, left 47 dead which dozens were wounded.
According to media reports a bus of Ismaili community in Karachi’s Safora Chowrangi has been targeted by terrorists in Karachi, opened fire on the vehicle leaving 47 dead and injuring many of other in which most of were in critical condition.
Police stated about the incident that six unidentified gunmen were on motorcycles and attacked bus from all side, used 9mm pistol in shooting that led to killing of many people, the bus had capacity of 52 passengers but overloaded having most of people from Ismaili community on board including numerous women and children.
An eyewitness has told to media that assailants on motorcycles opened fire on the bus all around while after killing the driver they go inside and killed passenger individually.
Rescue personnel reached the spot immediately as reported, sent injured to nearby hospital. Nearly 41 people have been killed at the scene while six other were didn’t survive because of severe injuries while the deaths can be increased as doctors stated many of people in serious condition.

Taliban has targeted many of religious places in this year following suicide, car and motorcycle bombing and minorities have often been targeted in the city, while no militant group has claimed responsibility of the fatal shooting yet.
Prime Minister of Pakistani Nawaz Sharif condemned attack and expressed sorrow and grief for victims.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan sought for report on terror attack from IG Sindh Police while Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah reportedly suspended area’s SHO and DSP.
