Swedish Mosque Set on Fire during Protest, 5 Injured
Stockholm: Demonstrators set fire to a Swedish Mosque during protest against government immigration policy on Thursday, Injured five worshippers.
According to Police, the mosque located at the ground floor of residential building of Eskilstuna set on fire on Friday afternoon suddenly, engulfed the whole area of mosque injured five of worshippers among nearly twenty people who were there to offer Namaz.
Media reported that eye witnesses revealed that someone threw an object through a closed window around 2pm local time which swept the entire mosque within minutes, the fire fighter reached at spot immediately and took hold on fire but the interior mosque was totally burnt.
Sweden authorities have stated that investigators are doing their work to find out clues but no suspect has been arrested till now, however, it is assumed that incident has links with nationwide protest following immigrations regulations.
In Eskilstuna, many of demonstrators have doing protest against government immigration policy since past few days to make it enough tight to control the immigrants of Sweden.
